We don't know how to stop their transformation when someone's locked into becoming a Phase yet. Are you really okay with waiting to see what happens with him?
Data draining Cubia sounds interesting, though. I wouldn't be surprised if he has some protection against it, but...
That was only when I locked myself away. I'd have been vulnerable if I left that Area, which is why I didn't. It's why Fandaniel was so reluctant to meet me, too. If Oria had killed me the first time he noticed something off instead of using his false death skill, that might as well have been that.
Until their transformation completes, they can be killed. Unless they're wreathed by Cubia's protection, they can be killed.
( But Sinclair's sentimental... A mercykill for him is the last option, and for Mithrun, it's the first. )
what if it does make a difference? What if the complete transformation is what protected your actual selves from damage?
