That was only when I locked myself away. I'd have been vulnerable if I left that Area, which is why I didn't. It's why Fandaniel was so reluctant to meet me, too. If Oria had killed me the first time he noticed something off instead of using his false death skill, that might as well have been that.
Until their transformation completes, they can be killed. Unless they're wreathed by Cubia's protection, they can be killed.
( But Sinclair's sentimental... A mercykill for him is the last option, and for Mithrun, it's the first. )
what if it does make a difference? What if the complete transformation is what protected your actual selves from damage?
fandaniel said the three of us have the stench of death around us. you, me, oria. i was ready to end it for you and michel, you know. i'm glad it turned out differently. but i was willing to do it in the end so no one else had to.
( Sinclair makes some excellent points. However, Mithrun doesn't respond for another day or so after, on 11/09. )
He's a Phase.
His name is Skeith.
( There is more he knows and more he can add here, but he doesn't, and he doesn't respond to any further messages at the moment. Should Sinclair be in the infirmary at this point, he might now be made aware that a very injured Mithrun has been admitted, brought in by a certain Head Admin on 11/08... )
( He's gonna be mostly asleep in the infirmary (injuries: thousands and thousands of small incisions across his body, and run through with some kind of broad blade(?)), hence his ominous lack of response... but he can definitely be pestered whenever he's awake, if desired. Thankfully, he's being well taken care of (also, strapped down). )

but he's also losing all his memories but unlike us, there's nothing to change them with.
i
don't know if i can bring myself to kill someone when they still look like themselves
besides, hien said he tried killing you and failed. oria also tried shooting you and got ejected from the area.

Why risk everyone's lives for just one?

as long as they look the same as I've known them...it's hard to justify pulling the trigger. I imagine a lot of people feel the same way.
That's probably what Cubia is counting on.

Killing them upsets players like you. But if they complete their transformation, and people die... What's the value in that?
Yael lost his leg against Gorre. Next time, it might not be just a leg, even if we still manage to win.
