I used to take very good note of everyone back then. Sinclair is a name with weight.

It helps that he saw Emil in the news within recent memory, too. He can't say something nice, like he liked playing with them, because he didn't like most people back then; and he can't say something sympathetic, because he doesn't have much in the way of feeling in him anymore. He's always out of sync with other people.
The nicest thing he does is not ask directly about the murders, or mention he recognized him from the news - even if it may not be difficult to suspect. )

It seems reasonable. I've made money I don't have desire to use, and you're in need of it.
