Did you receive a message from a user known as @ dv awarding you a title? Did they say anything else to you, or did any administrators tell you to stop speaking to them?
Somewhat. I asked if it was another administrator. Hien then intercepted the message chain and told me my account would be placed on indefinite suspension if I tried to contact the account. In another user's case, they got Zelkova telling them to just ignore it.
It could just be an internal actor releasing content (ie, titles) without permission. But the severity and lack of uniformity in administrative response is unexpected.
WTF? Why aren't they making a public announcement about this mystery account sending weird messages if they'd go so far as to ban us for trying to interact with it?
Guess my instincts about it being suspicious as hell were right. That glitchy text? Bad news. If this was part of the story or something, they shouldn't be doing it through DMs.
If it's a story, they're being rather experimental about it. There's a lot of possible options, but Hien doesn't strike me as the type to go along with a narrative. He killed me a couple times for trying to complete the book quest under his name.
Yes. He said he did reply to @ dv but received no response from them or from an administrator as of yet. He told me to contact you about this since you're "good with computers."
I thought this information might be relevant to you, so I'm forwarding it. He might still have an administrator step in, like in my case— if they haven't acted indirectly already, like in your case.
Of course he did. I might be good with computers, but this is more mystery-solving territory if you ask me.
I'll check in with him and make sure he's not saying anything dumb to it if he DOES hear back. I don't like the fact that the admins didn't swoop right in to nip it in the bud on his end like they did with us.

I tried to reply after I confirmed the title was legit but the only options I'm getting are to mark as spam or move to trash.
Did you actually get a word in??

Is Mr_Misteaks your friend?

[He's really not a fan of Hien. What a terrible admin.
...the mention of Mr_Misteaks instills a bit of unease.]
Yeah. He's my brother. Did you ask him about this too?
