I think so. I feel like I can't do anything except wait for things to happen to us.

I'm not sure I know how.

I think I have to keep moving. But if I keep moving I'm frustrated. There's nowhere to move.

If I accept there's nothing I can do, I think I'll stop moving at all.

( The second line is little literal, a little reminiscent of when he'd said revenge was the only thing that kept him up and moving. If he accepts there's no way out, at least not right now, and there's no means to his revenge - then that cuts his strings. He's limp.

He feels helpless, and he doesn't know whether to resign to it or not. But... )

But I'd lose my time with the people I know here if I let that happen.

But even if we manage to reconnect to our bodies and leave the beta... it doesn't really matter, I guess. I won't see almost anyone here again.

( Whether he means due to death induced by revenge or due to more general reasons, like distance, is unclear.

It's a lot easier to let go of a life when you don't think there's going to ever be much in it. )

He wishes so deeply he were a smarter man. Maybe he could have words to say that would make life appetizing. But... it's not his job, to force Morgan's hand. It's not his life, no matter how much it hurts.]

Despite everything, I think I like the people here. And I didn't like it when the flowers started to whither.

Then it matters. Even if you don't see anyone again if we make it out. It's still a delicious kind of thing, to get to know people.

Maybe we don't have a lot of places to move, but we still can move. If I can't take you with me, then maybe I can go with you instead.

What did your last set do?

( Asked as such, but more "Are you sure you want to test it?" in intent. He's seen the lily lance, and he can only guess the prior set was meant to needle at some tender spots. )

I didn't want to put anybody else through any of that. So I've had most of it locked up at the guild.

I know it's better to test my armor with someone. Having best in slot right now means a lot to me if it means I can keep tanking. I just don't want to do it blindly.

Bring potions. Also snacks. I'll have some, too, but it can't hurt.
