I wasn't able to ask them specifically about the *why*, however they were insistent about how there were only two beings in this world that could create "artifacts".
One of them being "His child" and the other I couldn't make out due to interference.
You'd think in a game there'd be others who'd be able to make them just fine.
They seemed certain it was automatically cursed just because whoever put these sets together wasn't one of the "two chosen ones"? It makes me wonder if they had another reason for that too...
I have no idea but from what we do know is that they're personalized to the individual than anything generic and not something made by the CC Corp. Speaking truthfully, I'm kind of happy about that because what it imply that they're doing.
So, it's just a matter of who this third party is, and I hate to keep throwing out crazy claims but I'm questioning if these "chosen ones" are even humans. I can't imagine that NPCs that aren't in the same position as Zelkova being aware enough of the existence of things outside.
On one hand it really is good that the CCorp as a whole doesn't have such private information but bad someone does, as far as I'm concerned.
I also don't think you're wrong to question it. If it is something like, embedded into the game lore, it'd also make sense for these 'chosen ones' to be some kind of special NPC.
I would expected for CC Corp to have our names, addresses, birthdays, and all of that, but how would they even get the other information. ...especially with the newer ones.
But I'm glad that all of that made sense to you. I'm honestly starting to wonder if what makes these NPCs so special is that have some sort of intelligence. Or... Have you kept up with the news that is being reported by the CC Corp?
I wondered the same. I didn't think that kind of thing was possible, and there's no way they could've been just spying on so many people all at once without someone noticing.
I saw all of that about the Doll Syndrome. It's probably linked to the game, you're saying? Or are you thinking there's a connection between that and some of the NPCs?
How we were selected was through a random lotto, right? If they were spying on us then it would mean that we were selected for some specific reason.
...and I would find it hard to not think it was somehow linked to this game. You passed out, didn't you? But...maybe. About the NPCs, I mean. There are sci-fi movies and books about that sort of thing, aren't there?
...I did, yeah. Which is probably when everything started to really go downhill. Well, no one's experienced the same since then, but there's the odd events that have happened here or there.
I don't really tend to check out the genre all that much, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's out there?
I've read all sort of things growing up, but normally there's no way that something like that could be thought of as a real possibility. It still feels crazy for me to give it this much of my attention.
Still it's comforting that, at least, what happened to you hasn't happened to anyone else. I'd hate it if you were the only one but also be relieved.
Though, I'd prefer to put a stop to anything that could make it potentially occur again. There's no reason anyone should go through what I had.
It's obvious you agree. I'm pretty sure you're not the only one who thinks so, either. But, as long as we keep an eye out, and are careful, we might be able to be prepared. And prevent it somehow. Or anything worse happening.
I am the same, but where would we even start? Do we simply focus on CC Corp? Is it something else within the game itself?
The poem that Vogel translated for everyone and the song that is sung within those special location... I'm not sure how much of that is tied to whatever lore has been programmed into the game. There's so much happening that it's hard not to want to combine them.
I will keep my eyes open for anything that catches my eye and any strange things that happen, don't worry.I don't want anything bad to happen to anyone else!!! You and Hana should be the only ones with a great story to tell on a creepypasta forum. ...to make light of serious matters for a moment.
I think we'd have to focus on both fronts. Somehow.
I think those translated things and the songs are definitely tied in. It's like the last pieces to a puzzle, a theory that hasn't been solved, a philosophical debate to which no side has won just yet.
Right. I'm also not sure what a creepy pasta forum is, but I don't think it sounds like something I want to be involved in eating. But, I believe I got the gist.
Has anyone else found any other notes or heard any other songs? My German isn't as good as Vogel's but I know a bit too. And a few other languages from all of the singing that I've done.
A creepy pasta is a creepy pasta! Or better described as where you can find a bunch of creepy stories and accounts online. Who knows which ones are real and which ones are just really good stories people have written
With as many eyes on this as there is, I'm sure we'll get some answers.
Honestly speaking, there's nothing other than what I saw on the network that I've heard of. Those things seem like they'd come out of the special areas, but I think no one's heard any new ones. We'll probably know soon enough if we do, though. Especially since people post about it to the network.
Well, I don't think I do good with horror stories, but good to know.
[ Pretend this message comes comes right after the previous one. ]
Actually, one more thing...
There was something else besides all that German. Hector said he found "viking runes". But, I don't think anyone was able to translate what Hector located.
