I see... Yeah, that was probably my mom. I was pretty into it when I was younger, but that was pretty much ruined for me because of her. That's why I never brought it up. I haven't spoken to her or the rest of my family in years.
From my end, I saw that you caught your dad in the middle of doing something illegal. You were disappointed in him. Furious, actually. And...I felt your resolve to do the right thing, and treat people better than he did.
Idk how to explain this, but feeling your resolve was really eye-opening in a lot of ways. It was kind of inspiring tbh. Made me realize how lucky I was to know someone like you.
I left the house that morning and didn't look back. my old man was involved in some real nasty stuff
when I was little he'd always tell me stories about knights saving princesses and silly things like that so finding out he didn't really believe in all that stuff he taught me was a lot
I did. Not everyone would take that as an opportunity to do better. Some may use it as a reason to become cynical and jaded, but you didn't. I think there's a lot of cool things that can be said about that :) It shouldn't have happened in the first place of course but...you know what I mean
Parents are really something else, aren't they? Lol.
I wish I didn't see that, because it's your business, not mine. But I'm just glad you got out of a shitty situation, in the way that you did.
I think that's reason enough to leave. That's not setting a good example for your child, and as a person...yeah, I don't blame you for not wanting to associate with that lol.
And...honestly, not really. I think that's why I'm super into fashion. I can channel my aesthetic side that way haha :D I'd like to be able to someday, but the memories are too much to handle right now.
@KaraBear
Do you have a moment? I just wanted to talk to you about that...mirror thing.

you want to meet in person or call or something?

We can meet up later for something else more fun haha

I can tell you what I saw if you want to know. I think you deserve that

You can go first?

I saw a lady you were showing a drawing to. she said it was nice and if you wanted to do art she'd get you lessons
and that you shouldn't settle for anything and work harder until you can't get any better
I didn't know you were an artist. I guess we never really talked about it

the truth is he was never a bad dad to me. I just couldn't accept that we were surviving off other people's pain
do you ever want to draw again?

but I hope you get to take those things back for yourself one day
it seems like a waste to let other people take your spark like that

But thanks for being real with me, Dehya.
That's something I think I've always admired about you. :)
