Like, are the other players in danger? I know we're here to playtest but if there's some bug in the code causing people to get fatally injured in real life that feels like a reason to shut things down to me.
No one is being forced to play at gunpoint. They can choose to quit and they will be removed from the project with the NDA still in effect. If they hate it so much and value their safety because they never once thought for themselves that they're using experimental technology until now, they can leave.
Yeah yeah, sure. I don't think anyone signed that contract thinking the agreed upon risk included potentially some sorta "you die in the game you die in real life" sorta science fiction scenario, Hien!
That is the point. If I have to be truthful to comfort them, there's nothing I can say. Tell them to stop playing. It's really all we can do. If they still don't want to, that's not our problem.
