How much can people figure out on their own in a situation like that? That's what they're trying to do when they reach out to you and Zelkova.

If people can't come to you, then what are they supposed to do?

You greatly underestimate what people can do as a community. You have many other people around you, savvy in particular fields. Trade information, rally key people over to your side for an easier time, ask for their opinion to broaden your horizons... and such.
