I suspect you're not a above Hien in the hierarchy, since you and he seem to be about equivalent in terms of information you know and what you're capable of, if specialized in different areas.
I would have expected administrator accounts were immune debuffs, but Hien is susceptible to them, while you aren't.
( Though, he still suspects Hien could probably force turn them off if he wanted to, even if he's initially affected...? )
Effects don't trigger on NPCs. There was an issue with that on the first day, but that was patched out.
Are you classed as a NPC rather than a user, Zelkova?
It seems like this is information you do not want to communicate to me. If this is the case, are you unable to lie to users?
( It would have been so much easier to lie his way out of this, like saying his avatar has special immunities, and Mithrun, with his only slight amount of knowledge user-side, would be none the wiser; but Zelkova keeps speaking in deflections and implications. )
( If Mithrun were capable of general concern, he'd be pretty worried about the implications of all this tech just. existing way before estimates said they should. but he's not. He's mostly wondering about all these weird mysteries and secrets tied up in Fragment. How much conspiracy can a video game have? Are they all like this?
Slightly pivoting without explanation: )
Do you have things you like, that don't involve players or other administrators?
( He's definitely wondering if @ dv is either an internal dev doing something tricksy or a rogue AI program or something in the same style as Zelkova. )
( If Mithrun understood he was coming to learning what things he likes he might relate, but he's not self-aware at all, so, oh well. )
I'm in Areas often. ( Though, he figures Zelkova can probably see that in his user data somewhere. ) I noticed there aren't any beach or ocean Areas, though.
( Is this because Mithrun likes ocean stuff? Who even knows. Mithrun wouldn't know either. )
I don't know if there "should" be a beach. But I live near a beach. So I noticed the absence of any in Fragment. I suspect there's only one Area locale per element so far, though. So a beach would require doubling up on an element.
I always see a lot of people at the beach from my window, though. So it may be a thing people like.

[ Not a user, not an NPC, but a secret third thing.
And, well, his lack of answer to the follow up question probably confirms Mithrun's assumption, doesn't it? ]

[ Thankfully, he does seem to have a few likes.
Or should that be concerning? It's hard to say. ]

Why? Do they feel nice?

I think I started feeling that way after I visited those Areas a few times.

I visit them, mostly. Leveling isn't a priority for me.
Should there be beaches?

I wonder if people like the ocean. Maybe that's why? I've never seen a beach for myself.

If I put in a formal suggestion for a beachfront area, will the developers consider it?
( Lowercase area, so it could be an Area or Root Town or zone or whatever. Who knows. )

( And, with that, Mithrun will indeed put in a suggestion for a beach area! Everybody loves swimming mechanics. )
