You wrote your letter to hold onto my memories for me. But I'm sorry. When you come back to yourself, I don't think I'll remember much anymore.
I don't remember why I loved the Little Prince, or if I found it happy or sad. But it was a memory, and it told me why memories should be shared. We're not the little prince or the pilot, but we can learn from them just the same. Don't you agree?
I wrote as much as I could, against time. I don't know anymore if I'll be able to look at your letter again and know why it's important to me: but I want you to know, if I can't tell you in person - thank you. I'm angry with you. But I'm glad you made a space for me in your life. I'll be glad to see winter once this nightmare is over.
Justy said we don't need our memories to be good people. I don't think I'm a good person, not like Justy but I think I understand what he meant - we don't need everything to be who I am at heart. Fragment can take my memories piece by piece. But maybe I'll remember that I am 'Emil Sinclair', and you are 'Michel' and all the people whose names I carry in my heart - this world can't take that from me.
