If Harald Hoerwick threw Cubia away, then Cuba didn't fulfill his intentions as an AI while Zelkova did. Zelkova has been helpful, but hands off, and not very communicative in a way that's easy to understand. Cubia talks a lot, but most of that seems to be unreliable and manipulative.
It sounds like the garden he hangs out in has other NPCs and data that was meant to be deleted. Including those shield monsters. That's how Misteaks practiced with his bracelet.
I was joking about getting through all this okay because I'm not traumatized like everyone else here but it feels like it's becoming more true by the day.

Cubia gave them the ability to warp directly there since they can't just use the gates I guess.

I guess the cores could be different, too.

I'm not really sure what to make of it anymore.

What did he want to know about your bracelet?

it's weird though
zelkova and lily are brothers, but they couldn't be any more different in how they've worked

Were they supposed to be a package deal, maybe? Like one program, except all the stuff they didn't want in there got taken out?

they appear to be a similar class, and they have similar abilities. except zelkova lives on the surface and lily doesn't.

I can't believe he's been with Lily this whole time. No wonder he was so defensive.
