I wish I could still talk to Barrett the same way as we did before.
( He's jealous Sinclair has Oria to center him and understand what he means when he tries to say something, and Mithrun had that for a bit but... well. Barrett is sure Going Somewhere ! and Oria (hopefully) (looks at Haki) is not.
But, Sinclair going off kind of tells him he's probably not going to find that type of communication or a place to confide in with anyone else. And maybe it's because of the type of relationships he's fostered with Sinclair, with other people. He didn't necessarily earn his right to have a confidante.
This, too, is a fascinating mismatched connection. )
i talk to oria about a lot of things but not everything. not because he wont try to understand but because it would hurt both of us if i made him carry everything.
he's not the only one i care about and he's not the only one i confide in. im sure there are things he can only tell other people too. maybe because they're older. or he wants a different perspective
